Undefeated heavyweight contender Tyson Fury (17-0, 12 KO’s) will be facing 40-year-old Irish heavyweight and former 2008 PrizeFighter heavyweight tournament champion Martin Rogan (14-2, 7 KO’s) in a scheduled bout on April 14th at the Odyssey Arena, in Belfast, Northern, Ireland.

Fury, 23, recently gave up his British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles rather than face the dangerous and unbeaten knockout puncher David Price in a fight that all of the UK has been begging to see for some time.

Fury didn’t want to risk his high ranking #7 WBC and possibly blow a big money title shot against World Boxing Council heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko in 2012 or 2013. It was hoped that Fury would take on a quality world level heavyweight at least in his next fight, but it looks like he’s continuing to play it safe while he waits for a title shot against Vitali.

Why? He should have fought Price! What is he scared of?
