Former IBF/WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan (26-2, 18 KO’s) is once again looking past his next opponent WBC light welterweight champion Danny Garcia (23-0, 14 KO’s), who Khan faces next month on July 14th at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Khan has previously talked about wanting to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. sometime next year. What is strange about that is that Khan is coming off of a loss to Lamont Peterson in a fight that Khan looked terrible in. Besides that, Khan has another tough opponent in front of him in the 24-year-old unbeaten Danny Garcia on July 14th, and the last thing that Khan should be doing is talking about fights beyond that one. But now Khan has added Bradley to his list of guys that he’d like to fight next. This comes after Bradley defeated Khan’s close friend WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao last weekend. Khan wants to try and steal Bradley’s thunder by calling him out, and hoping he can make a name for himself by beating him. That’s probably not going to happen, because a fight against Khan will bring in chump change compared to a rematch between Bradley and Pacquiao.
