The British Boxing Board of Control may choose to ban Dereck Chisora for life for the disgusting post-fight brawl with David Haye that took place last Saturday night in Munich, Germany. Chisora had been beaten by WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko by a 12 round decision on that night, and fought surprisingly well.

But After the fight, Chisora attempted to confront the heckling David Haye in the audience and a fight broke out between the two fighters and was joined in by Chisora’s trainer. British Boxing Board secretary Robert Smith told the BBC Radio 5 “Of course it is. The Boxing Board has many powers – they can fine, they can suspend and they can withdraw a license…I have to speak to the chairman of the [German] Boxing Federation and the German police, the authorities, to see what the situation is with regard to them over there, and then obviously take the appropriate action.”

This is just completely classless, the thing that really disgusted me was Chisora who kept yelling that he was going to shoot David Haye, really?? Come on, you are a professional athlete who makes a lot of money, it is time to GROW up.

I think that a lifetime ban is a little much, maybe a year or two at the most.

    Agreed. Lifetime is too excessive

Chisora is an idiot and he seems to continually make mistakes but you can'y deny he has got people speaking about the heavyweight division again. A lifetime ban for being glassed in the face? Ridiculous!
